Submit a Manuscript

The JBMR considers original articles, clinical trials, short reports. Editorial policies and detailed manuscript submission information and requirements may be found in the Author Guidelines section of this web site.

Please note that Reviews, Perspectives (mini-reviews), and Commentaries should be submitted only after you have contacted the editor with a proposal.

Authors must submit manuscripts to the JBMR’s online manuscript management system (ScholarOne). Once your submission is complete, ScholarOne will automatically email a manuscript number to the corresponding author of the manuscript. JBMR manuscript numbers are prefixed with the letter “M”. Please record your JBMR manuscript number in order to easily reference your paper in the future.

Note: If your manuscript number begins with “J,” please contact the Editorial Office for instructions on submitting a revised version.
