New JBMR Web Site
Published on 01/15/10 by ASBMRASBMR has entered into a new publishing arrangement under which the production of the JBMR and other business matters are managed by Wiley-Blackwell while the Society continues with sole responsibility for editorial matters. Wiley has also assumed business responsibilities for the Primer.
Among the more visible signs of this new arrangement is a new web site for the JBMR On the new JBMR site, full text access to articles is available to ASBMR members via a single login on the ASBMR web site. Simply login to the ASBMR web site (www.asbmr.org), select one of the links to JBMR, and you will find yourself on the new JBMR site with full text access to all JBMR articles. No separate registration is required for members to have full access to the new JBMR site.
Features of the new JBMR web site include improved navigation, links to recently accepted manuscripts, article-specific “sharing” links to social networking and bookmarking sites, and virtual issues, which are online-only thematic collections of previously published articles. All ASBMR members will automatically be enrolled in a JBMR “Table of Contents” email service that will announce each new issue of the Journal. Of course, members will be able to opt out of the “eTOC” announcements at any time.
Note that it is possible to browse the new JBMR site (www.jbmr.org) without logging in, but for convenience in accessing the full text of articles, members are advised to login first on the ASBMR web site.
